Treks here in Pithoragarh are difficult as the city is already at an altitude of 1514 meters and we are talking about climbing peaks. Many shrines are at the places where one has to trek like Thalkedaar Mahadeva, Dhwaj Mandir, Asurchula Mandir and many more. Treks to the Milam and Namik Glaciers are kick-started here. The government of Pithoragarh has also been very supportive and is welcoming tourists to come and trek to amazing locations of Pithoragarh.
